My functional line includes "funky Tableware with Flare". I have a variety of one of a kind pieces to choose from and I'm sure you'll find something you will enjoy for years to come. I have fun creating the pieces and hope they add some fun to your life as well.
In conjunction with hand-building and wheel throwing, I use alternative firing techniques such as Raku, Naked Raku, Ferric Chloride Fuming, Foil Saggar and Horse Hair Raku to finish my pieces. I have been experimenting with Foil Saggar and decorating with Horse hair and feathers. This is done by firing the piece; removing it from the kiln while extremely hot and the applying the horsehair and feathers which carbonize on contact with the hot clay. These pieces are non - functional and are intended to be "Food for the Soul" .... in other words, objects de' art.
